A Youth S-M will fit an average sized 6 & 7 Year old wearing a Girls size 6 – 8

A Youth L-XL will fit an average sized 8-10 year old wearing a Girls size 10 – 16

A Junior size is a tad smaller than a Ladies XS, a size 0 or 2 will fit perfectly.
