2nd Annual Deercreek Rain Girl Invitational January 28 & 29, 2024
Brand new from Rain Girl, a golf tournament that will bring Lady Professionals and Amateurs together for a fun day of golf. Sunday Evening, Jan. 28th, we will kick off the event with a Welcome Reception/Pairing Party. Monday, Jan. 29th will be breakfast then a 11:00 Shotgun start playing a Point Quota Format as well as an ABCD Team Nassau. The deadline to register and submit entry fee is January 19, 2024

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Flighted Point Quota
ADDITIONAL SIDE GAME: $20 Team Nassau with skins (game information below)
Professional Flight: All female professionals Yardage 5,400 - 5,600
1st Flight: Amateurs Handicap index (0-8) Yardage 5,200 - 5,400
2nd Flight: Amateurs Handicap index (9-18) Yardage 4,800 - 5,000
3rd Flight: Amateurs Handicap index (19-28) Yardage 4,800 - 5,000
Note: Number of Flights will be determined by the number of players entered.
Formats and Games
Point Quota:
All Professionals will have a 36 point quota. All amateurs point quota will be based on handicap. Minimum of 8 points for all participants. You will play with other players in your flight for tournament.
Hole in One on a Par 3 = 8 points
Eagle = 6 points
Birdie = 4 points
Par = 2 points
Bogey = 1 point
Double Bogey or more = 0 points (no minus points in this game)
Team Nassau $20 Cash Game:
Team (A-B-C-D) Format - Teams of 4 players will be paired evenly using players handicap to create the teams and will be revealed at pairing party. The best 2 balls (gross score) of the team on each hole will determine your team score.
$5 toward front 9 Total
$5 toward back 9 Total
$5 toward overall Total
$5 Skins (Will split skin pot between AB's/CD's)
Number of teams played will determine how many teams win in each segment.
Note: Since a double or more is 0 points, if a player picks up on a hole, an "x" will count as a triple bogey for the team game if more than 2 players pick up on any given hole.
Closest to the Pin: One for each flight
